"We know there is a faire in Ojai and a pirate fest in the works just outside of Simi in the valley. Have any of you been or know of the Conjeo Valley Days in Thousand Oaks? Why not have a nice local Ren faire there?
Would it be nice to have fun with your whole family and have fun learning history with more than half the cost less than it would at Conjeo Valley Days? A huge turn out came when a false event called themselves a "Ren. Faire" at the Ronald Reagan library. Easily a thousand people or so, showed up, and where greatly put down by the event. As where all of us who came up with this idea.
If they can have all these other events why not a Ren Faire??"
The German pirate will make her return on July 4th-5th at the Pirest fest in the canyon!

Why that dress is stunning! I hope you pull it off... My Queen Elizabeth persona is pretty all encompassing now, so be careful you don't stumble upon such a lifestyle obsession as I have. When you start designing new QE1 garb in your head all the time and save up all year for a goblet more expensive than any full set of dinnerware in your house, then you know you're really in over your head! Put picks up as you work on it!
